I hold a TIRIS Junior Fellowship at Toulouse School of Economics – TSE, working with Edouard Pauwels and Jérôme Bolte on nonsmooth optimization. Broadly speaking, I am interested in the mathematics of data science. Specifically, my interests lie at the intersection of continuous optimization and data science (machine learning, deep learning, statistical learning, sampling, signal processing, inverse problems, etc).
Before joining TSE, I was a postdoc at the Mathematical Optimization for Data Science Group (MOP) led by Peter Ochs, Saarland University, Germany. In 2024, I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics and Applications from the University of Genoa (UniGe) in Italy (manuscript, slides). My supervisors were Silvia Villa (primary), and Saverio Salzo.
